National Reflections Finalist

Congratulations to Achilles Ponte, HHS sophomore, for being named as a National Reflections Finalist.  Achilles submitted a photograph entitled “Muffled” at our local Reflections program, advancing on to the regional and then state levels.  At state, the submission received the Award of Outstanding Interpretation (the highest possible!), moving it on to the national level.  At the National event it received the National Award of Merit, placing in the top 9 high school photography entries from the nation!  Achilles also submitted a literary piece entitled “Echoes,” which received the Award of Excellence at the state level.
