4th Consecutive Win for Hanford Student Media at TRIFI's 72-Hour Film Challenge

Congratulations to Hanford High's Student Media Production Club for winning first place for their film “Writer’s Block” in the 72-Hour Film Challenge (Student Division) at the 16th Annual Tri-Cities International Film Festival (TRIFI)! The film was also honored with the People's Choice Award. This marks the fourth consecutive year that HHS has been recognized in the 72-Hour Film Challenge Student Division.

Filmmaking teams have just one weekend to make a short film. Writing, shooting, and editing must be completed within a 72-hour window, challenging contestants to focus on quick decisions and decisive shooting. TRIFI identifies the theme, a prop color, gesture and a line that must be included in all films.
