On the Spot Admissions Appointments are recommended for First Year and Running Start students with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students with a GPA below a 3.0 may be asked to prepare a personal statement.

Junior Volunteer Programs

What will you get out of the junior volunteer program?

• This program is a LOT of fun. 
• It’s fulfilling to help others. 
• Volunteer work looks great on job, college, and scholarship applications.
• Kadlec Auxiliary awards 2, $2000 scholarships every year to students who have given at least 100 hours of service to Kadlec. 
• It’s a great way to spend time in the hospital setting if you are interested in the medical field.

Junior Volunteer Application

Here are the next steps. 

• Volunteer application –Fill out online or return paper form to Tammie Gilley (Tammie.Gilley@kadlec.org) 
• Once received, you will be sent an invitation for a phone interview. 
• Other steps involved in preparation for the program include, lab work, caregiver health appointment and orientation. You will be trained in the are that you are most interested in and that has openings. 
• We ask for a commitment of 1 4-hour shift per week. You can do more if you’d like.

The City of Richland is now hiring for the 2024 pool season! Interviews are expected to be held the week of Spring Break, April 1-5. Applicants must have an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and be at least 15 years old by the date of hire.

Four-Way Test Speech Contest

Of the things we think, say, or do: 

• Is it the truth? 
• Is it fair to all concerned? 
• Will it build good will and better friendships? 
• Will it be beneficial to all concerned? 

Columbia Center Rotary would like to hear how you apply the Four-Way Test in your life. 

Written speeches are due May 2 with the top ten progressing to the speech contest on May 16. Students must be in 9-12 grade to enter. Prizes up to $1,000!
