Program Overview
Worksite Learning in Healthcare is a unique internship program sponsored by Kadlec Medical Center. It is designed to help students take a close look at opportunities in healthcare as well as cultivate employability and leadership skills. The program requires a 90-hour commitment outside of the school day for the semester of the internship and earns a .5 elective credit. The 90 hours are primarily spent on one of the healthcare campuses with a few of the workshops held on the Richland High School campus.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is available to Richland High and Hanford High students who have successfully completed Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Placement Biology, Biomedical Science or Biotechnology. Students enrolled in one of these science courses for the current school year may also apply. Applicants must be a rising junior or senior in high school.
